It’s like a weird winter reverse art parade?
Check out work from hundreds of artists that create a village of shanties on frozen Lake Harriet. Each shanty has a story!

Shop vendors, visit the free play arcade of old school games, and check out their mini museum.
Advanced tickets are about 10 bucks all in, kids 12 and under are free. A little more at the door.

Twin Cities, your kids can learn to snowshoe next weekend!
For kids 10 and up, there will be free guided hikes to search for wildlife. An adult must accompany children. Expect to learn some new fun facts!

Cat lovers of the Twin Cities, I found your weekend plans.
Saintly City Cat Club is hosting their 49th annual cat show in conjunction with the St Paul Winter Carnival. Breeds like hairless Sphynx, Rex, Maine Coon, Persian…and yes, even household pets will compete for king and queen.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for kids and seniors. And yes, you can get them at the door.

Get out on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis for…kites?! 🪁 The 24th Annual Kite Festival is next weekend!
Bring your own, buy one there, or just watch the sky. They’ll also have bonfires, s’mores, food trucks, and a DJ for kids. Plus the Art Shanty Projects will be there too.
A free shuttle will run from the Executive Center (3033 Excelsior).
