In case you didn’t know, there’s a rookery over the Mississippi River in Northeast Minneapolis, and there’s a little celebration next week to welcome the birds’ return!
Join other bird watchers and nature enthusiasts! Bring your cameras and binoculars. Park rangers and volunteers will be on site to greet and assist guests.
They do ask that you RSVP, so if you need the info, let me know!

Minneapolis vinyl record lovers, there’s a pop-up of the Twin Cities Record Show in the west metro next week!
Six vendors with thousands of albums, CDs, 45s, and music memorabilia to browse.
Free admission. Free parking. All the music.
TWIN CITIES RECORD SHOW POP-UP

Want to check out an art exchange between Minnesota and Norway?! No kidding…here’s your chance.
Canvas paintings, sculptures, and textile installations from five Norwegian artists will be on display…shipped directly from Norway. I’m told there are nature scenes, abstract art, and 3D collages.
And some MN art is being displayed in Norway too! How cool is that?
The exhibit is open until 13 April, but for opening night, they’ll have Norwegian food, drinks, and a wine tasting. And it’s free!
