If it’s been a while since you’ve visited the Sunken Garden, now is a great time! Deep purple and dark red chrysanthemums, with touches of lavender and white, alongside ritual plants, medicinal herbs and botanicals you might find in a witches’ garden. Then they’re mixing things up with part two of the show opening 23 October.

MINNEAPOLIS GHOST WALK

Mill Ruins Park, Minneapolis
Hear the ghost stories behind the Washington Avenue Bridge, The Guthrie, Foshay Tower, City Hall, and more…34 bucks each total for a 90 minute walk. Ages 13 and up.
PILLSBURY CLUB GHOST HUNT
2 October, 9 pm
Pillsbury Club, Minneapolis
If you want to kick off spooky season, there’s a two hour ghost hunt next week hosted by Minneapolis Trolley Tours. Two ghost guides will lead you through a mansion to experience paranormal activity. Equipment will be provided, and you can bring your own. 59 bucks each.

BLOODY MARY FESTIVAL

If you love a bloody, check this out. Sample the best in the area all under one roof plus snacks and app samples. It looks to be about 63 dollars to get in but includes everything. Vote for the people’s choice award for best bloody in the Twin Cities! I don’t see Spring Street Tavern on the list though…the best!
LET THEM COOK - THE GREAT NE GRILL OUT
3 October, 1 - 8 pm
Insight Brewing, Northeast Minneapolis
Neighbors will gather for a cookoff for the best BBQ in NE MPLS. Sample all, and then cast your vote for the best chef. They’ll also have a vinyl DJ playing dad rock, a smoked-peach beer release, bonfires, and local vendor market.
HALLOWEEN COSTUME SWAP
